Thanks, DXAmin, that is the only modem that is available through my telco. Just paid $70, can`t afford another one. :(
I really only want it to play games (not online) and download photos from my camera while we are away in our caravan and as they on sale today for $119, they sounded like a good buy. I`ve read some excellent reviews and it seems to be a great product. 8-)

Cheers, Robyn

Hi Robyn,

Have you asked you provider about support for the E58325. They may be able to give some advice as well.

Please confirm that the ZTE633 dongle will work under Android, and more specifically on the DXtreme 703B.

I bought a ZTE633 on eBay and purchased and activated a SIM card from Telstra, but the 703B wont recognize or install the dongle.

Any advice?

Did you set up an APN for the 3G Dongle you are trying to connect with?

These are the APNs for Telstra that I know of:

Telstra – Internet

Name: Telstra Internet
APN: telstra.iph
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server: wap.telstra.com/wap
MMSC:
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port:
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 505
MNC: 01
Authentication Type: CHAP
APN Type: default,supl

Telstra – MMS

Name: Telstra MMS
APN: telstra.mms
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC: http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002
MMS Proxy: 10.1.1.180
MMS Port: 80
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 505
MNC: 01
Authentication Type: CHAP
APN Type: mms

Thanks for that.

However, after filling out the above details, how do I save the new APN 'page' in Settings on the 703B? If I press anywhere in the screen, or press 'return', I lose the settings.

I have just bought a D903 and thought it would be simple to connect via a USB dongle. Big mistake. My carrier says that the only way I can connect is to insert the SIM into my tablet. But there is no provision in the D903 to do this. Do I have to get a new dongle or must I install wi-fi in my house?

Hi
I own and use a D703, not a D703B, but I would assume the menu structure is the same and there is a save function in the menu for the D703.
